This week we have on the agenda awesome events from Retrievers to Gnat's Landing and everywhere in between. Plus, get ready for my countdown of the greatest comic book character film adaptations. Here’s a hint, The Avengers is on
th
e list.
Number five is Spiderman 2. Everybody brings their A game and Alfred Molina is excellent as Doc Oc. At first I thought there should have been a different villain, but I was immensely sold by the performances in this one.
Number four is Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. It amazes me how many people have still not seen this film. It’s funny, and the action is on point. The video game style violence is a major sell for me and the love story within will sell the ladies very well.
Number three is Iron Man. I give this the highest grade because it made me interested in iron man where I was not at first. The idea to make Tony Stark a fan of classic rock worked well and it had me on the edge of my seat until the very end when he finally reveals his identity.
Number two is "The Avengers. There is action, there are amazing fight scenes, and hilarity throughout. I would put this in the Top five films I’ve seen in life, but I may be just saying this because it’s fresh on my mind. The movie also does an amazing job of setting us up for sequels and films from each of its heroes.
Number 1 is obviously "The Dark Knight". Heath Ledger steals the film, the whole thing has you on the edge of your seat and just wondering what the joker will do next. The twists and turns in this film along with its final result is amazing. Can’t wait to see "The Dark Knight Rises".
